sorry i have been away on camp so haven't been able to post for a while on this test match. After South Africa one the firs test by an innings the English were looking for revenge but it looks like they aren't going to get what they are looking for as a draw is the most probable conclusion due to all the rain earlier in the test match.
South Africa started the day on 39/0 with a lead of 33 through out the day they put on another 200 runs to there total and losing seven wickets along the way giving them a lead of 233 at afternoon tea. But as the South Africans did not declare there is almost only 1 possible outcome for this match as England are simply going to run out of time even if they get a chance to bat which i am not sure they will at this stage.
South Africa have finally declared on 258/9 but i think they have left it too late to win this one but if anyone has a chance of winning i would just put England to win as they have some good batsman to come also they are on target to hit over 135 runs.
the day is at an end and as expected the match was drawn England finished on 130/4 needing 125 more runs to draw and South Africa needed 6 more wickets. South Africa remain 1-0 up in the series. South Africa need only a draw to secure the series at lords where England can't win the series and to draw the series they need to win the third test
